The Procedure:
-We need 35-45 images in the best resolution you have. You can email them to me a few at a time or drop them on a disk and mail them to us. We are set up for direct image retrieval from Flickr, Facebook, Smugmug, Picasa, and Photobucket so if you would like to upload your images there, that will be fine.
-You will need to give us the image numbers and the order you would like them or simply state, “Random”.
-Choose your style of slide show from our slideshow style library.
-All images and video clips need to be numbered in the order you want or just say “random”.
-You can add up to 10 short comments and or 10 second video clips that can appear throughout the show.
-You will need to indicate what comment or video clip should appear before, after or randomly in relation to the images. Please be specific such as comment #2 after image #3. Comment #1 just before image 30 etc.
-Please choose from the music below or find us some royalty-free music that we can get permission. We will be adding more choices in time. We are not allowed by law to make a slide show using production music without permission from the artist. You may also choose to pick a song from this site: http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/collections.html. If you own music or know of an artist that has music you would like and can secure permission in writing please let us know.

DVD Notes:
Your final Slideshow will be DVD quality. The best results will be from using the largest image files you have or scanning with a quality scanner.

Image Notes:
-Image file types are limited to .jpg. If you have another image file type we generally can convert it. The fee is $1.00/image conversion. At times, the image quality may be reduced due to technological limitations.

Video Clip Notes:
-A 30-second video uses 8-15 elements (text, images, video), depending on the song.
-Use 3-5s video clip highlights for maximum effect.
-We support quite a few video formats and codecs. However, there are many different video file types that use proprietary encoding formats, so let us know what you have and we can let you know if we support your particular clip.
-Here are the file extensions we currently support: mp4, avi, mov, qt, 3gp, m4v, mpg, mpeg, mp4v, h264, wmv, mpg4, movie, m4u, flv, dv, mkv, mjpeg and ogv.
-Video clip uploads are limited to 200 megabytes. This means that we’ll be able to accept either longer videos of lower resolution, or shorter videos of higher resolution.
-We recommend that your clips be least 720×480 pixels at 24fps.
-We do have a limit of 10 seconds per video clip at a time to ensure that the videos retain a professional feel.

Slideshow Style Library:

You can choose from many styles to have your custom slideshow express a certain feel. Your final slideshow will be slightly different although it will represent the style you choose.
